Do you know the story behind our modern day crop circles? In brief, two old British codgers (Doug Bower and Dave Chorley) stepped forward at the end of the 1991 crop circle season to claim that they had not only been hoaxing circles for years, but actually created the entire phenomenon in 1978.

This crop circle was reported in a field in Broad Hinton, Wiltshire on August 26, 2012. Such amazing detail, and completely mindboggling that someone managed to create this monster of symmetry overnight.

Indonesia saw its first crop circle this weekend. Made in a rice paddy near the village of Jogo Tirto, the crop circle has a design that closely resembles that of Muladhara chakra, one of the seven energy vortexes in the human body according to Tantric Hinduism.
